eBay Success Driven by Desire

About two months ago I got some brainiac idea that I wanted to do something to pursue eBay success once again.  I just was not sure what that was going to be.  Here I am getting ready to launch a book about my eBay success from a few years back but I wasn’t selling on eBay at the time.  I wanted to change that. I don’t even know how the conversation started but my brother-in-law and I decided to start and eBay eBook business.

You need to know a little bit about him.  Dave had been on the internet before but pretty much just to read about sports.  He had never been to eBay and had never heard of this internet marketing thing.  I told him he had to follow a few programs and with my guidance we could get this thing up and running.  Well, I turned him on to John Thornhill’s: Your Own eBook Business and he was off and running.

We tweaked our auctions, I taught him how to do some in-depth research and, BAM, before I knew it the Complete-Home-Business-Guide eBay store was built (if at any time you visit the store and it is empty it is because Dave is preparing for the launch of his new ebook and video series!).   In under two months (as of this post writing) we were at a feedback score of over 100, Dave had built a custom auction template (thanks to John Thornhill’s system), he had created a custom CD-ROM template (included in John Thornhill’s system) and we had affiliate income coming in through ClickBank.  THIS IN JUST TWO MONTHS!  This is also coming from someone that HAD NEVER been to eBay before.

Dave is now posting videos on youtube, using web 2.0 marketing tactics, has created his affiliate promotion website AND is creating a killer new video series that you’ll be hearing more about soon!  All this and he is a father with three children under the age of four and an entire household to maintain.  Bottom line is, Dave just put his mind to it AND did it!!!  eBay success is just one decision and commitment away!

He stopped over yesterday for a family cookout and showed me his web 2.0 marketing efforts and his new affiliate promotion site.  I was blown away!  Yeah, I helped him get squared away with some direction on the eBay business and that got him the itch to do more things on his own.  I had no idea he had some of the other things in the works and I was floored to see that he was putting what he was reading in eBooks to use.  He is a perfect example of having no fear, putting your trust in those before you who have succeeded and just taking action to get something done.  Once you have a little momentum it will carry you a long way.

For those of you thinking that this was just a little easier for him since I was there to coach him through some of the eBay stuff, just drop me a line and I will be more than happy to help you out too!  Properly achieved eBay success can explode into a full blown internet marketing business reaching far beyond the realm of eBay.  What are YOU fighting for???
