A few years ago, the web was my only source of income. It all began with a few eBay auctions that exploded into a blazing ecommerce business. I generated just over $4 million in revenue in my first full calendar year of business! My eBay auction sales alone were consistently over $250,000 per month. We will talk A LOT more about this in the months to come, so stay tuned.

Turning $6,000 cash into millions of annual sales was not as hard as it may seem and in the months to come I will share with you my thoughts & feelings about my business venture and tips & resources that I used to achieve my success.

As my business grew, I realized that running a business with a partner was a struggle.  Also, running a business that had to inventory tens of thousands of dollars of product was tiresome.   After a few years, the company folded. As it tumbled, I did too. Achieving great success and losing it all was an eye opener. I needed to regroup.

I went back to corporate America. Although not ideal, it does have it’s fringe benefits.  I will lend my opinions on being a leader, what it takes and how I have achieved success as an Executive helping to lead the sales charge for a $100 million a year company. (In three and a half years I helped this business nearly double in size!)

About a year ago, a legendary eBay expert approached me. He said I needed to tell my story, write a book. I had earned it. I had credibility. I had experiences to share. I pondered the idea for months as I maintained my comfort zone. After much thought, the idea got the best of me and that brings me to today.

The book is ready to launch and I am knee deep in creating multiple streams of internet income. I still fill an Executive role for the same company mentioned above and I have dabbled in many different ways to generate income online and, along with my site, will chronicle the ups and downs of my ventures. I will talk about what I did, how I did it and what resources I used to get it done. I’ll talk about what worked, what didn’t and why. I will work with you through the struggles of juggling your day job and getting your online business up and running.

Keeping the passion and discipline to do your own thing is not always easy when you have something to fall back on and I will lend my insight on that topic too.  My biggest downfall at earning a full time internet based income has been my success offline, in my current career.  We will tackle that challenge together as well.  Now, as I have business meetings
with two of the top retailers in the world tomorrow morning (yes, my passion for being a leader still reigns on) I need to head to the gym for some quiet time.
